STEM Mystery Challenge

When the weather keeps you indoors this winter, try a STEM Mystery Challenge. Families can use their imagination and objects from around the home to complete a challenge. Here are a few to try!

  • “Run, run as fast as you can. You can’t catch me I’m the Gingerbread Man!” Can you create a trap that could catch and hold a gingerbread man?
  • Can you build a snowman by stacking marshmallows? How many marshmallows can you stack before your snowman topples?
  • Snowflakes are made of a group of snow crystals stuck together. Each are hexagon-shaped with six sides. Can you make a snowflake with six sides? Try creating a snowflake with six-sides with ideas from our Snowflake Tinker Tray!
