Count and Build

Activity: Pick a number card from 1-20. Build the tallest tower you can with that number of cups. The tower must stand for 5 minutes.

Materials:

• Set of number cards 1-20
• 20 plastic cups
• Timer

Let’s think about it:

• Is it easier to build with more or less cups?
• How many cups did you use to make the tallest tower?
• Can you blow down your towers like the big bad wolf, or are they too strong?!
