Job Description

Wonder Lab is Kinderberry Hill’s proprietary enrichment program. We offer hands-on learning experiences for enrolled Kinderberry children in the areas of STEAM, music & sign language, and Spanish. We are currently accepting applications for a STEAM Wonder Lab Enrichment Educator. This position will join our team of Wonder Lab early educators.

This position is ideal for outgoing, creative individuals who are willing to embrace Reggio approach to early learning, are self-motivated, and who enjoy working with children of all ages. This individual will collaborate with the Kinderberry Hill Director of Education and the entire Wonder Lab enrichment team.

Job Requirements:

  • a CDA, college degree (associates, bachelors, or masters) or a minimum of 16 semester credits towards and early childhood education or and ECE related field. Lead teacher status is required.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to all our Kinderberry Hill schools. 
  • Full-time, Monday-Friday work schedule

Job Responsibilities:

  • Offer children age appropriate, well-rounded, hands-on, immersive play experiences in the areas of art, music, STEM, and movement.
  • Travel to each Kinderberry Hill school and maintain a timely schedule
  • Build strong, ongoing communication with school leadership teams and staff
  • Quarterly duties include:
    • Develop long-term studies each quarter (full use of our library or resources and previous studies)
    • Create simple, age-appropriate take home activities for families
    • Share a family-friendly recap of the study via our Wonder Lab newsletter
  • Weekly duties include: 
    • Enhance (refurbish, restock, or create) learning materials 
    • Develop provocations and learning activities 
    • Develop group time activities
    • Introduce/reintroduce topic and activities using 
      • Vocabulary
      • Books
      • A variety of different materials and mediums 
    • Weekly Family Communication which includes a recap of the previous week with photos and supplemental learning activities for home 
  • Monthly duties include:
    • Introduction to lessons for employees and families 
    • Introduce Provocations/Invitations to play and learn about the theme
