Kinderberry Hill strives to promote academic excellence for the children in our care. As an enhancement to our curriculum, children receive second language, music appreciation, and physical education classes taught by professionals who join our team weekly.
Special programs such as computer, karate, and gymnastic lessons may be offered at an additional charge. Attendance in these programs is optional and program choices may vary by center.
Kinderberry Hill's music enrichment program offers children (beginning in our infant classrooms) an
opportunity to be exposed to and experiment with a variety of multicultural music (including instruments,
songs, dances, sounds, and rhythms) in a fun environment. Recent research shows that early music
experiences help children develop concentration, discipline, self-esteem, confidence, and intelligence.

opportunity to learn the Spanish language in a relaxed and creative environment with activities designed
to build self-esteem and promote literacy and language recognition. Our Spanish teachers serve as positive
role models as each child gains social and emotional growth, learns through experience and discovery, and
develops awareness of diverse cultures.

Kinderberry Hill's fitness enrichment program offers children (beginning in our toddler classrooms) an
opportunity to learn about health and fitness with fun and positive lesson plans. The program introduces
fitness concepts through music and movement, cardiovascular activities (including exercise, nutrition, and
body awareness), and making healthy lifestyle choices. As educators, we can positively model and reinforce
healthy life choices.

Kinderberry Hill's sign language enrichment program offers children (beginning in our infant classrooms)
the benefits of learning American Sign Language in a relaxed environment. Our teachers use a combination
of hand signs and spoken words in a variety of activities to maximize the learning experience of each child.
Infant development research indicates that babies have control over their hands long before they develop
fine motor skills required for speech. By teaching infants as early as eight months old to sign, more and
more parents and caregivers are experiencing the many benefits of this method of early communication.
